Option 1 - To the Top of the Waterfall

From Behind the Waterfall

After a drive of about an hour from Belgaum, the trek begins with a gradual descend, which gradually become steeper until you finally reach the confluence point of the Kasara stream into the Mahadaye river. Here onwards, for about 1.75 kms, there’s a lot of boulder hopping with numerous ups & downs, river crossing or traversing before finally reaching the Vajra Waterfall. This varied terrain gives you a fine experience of various aspects of trekking and keeps you engaged throughout.

Climbing down a few feet with the help of a ladder (that we carry for your utmost safety) you are in between the top & bottom of the waterfall. You are just a few feet away from the mighty waterfall from where you can capture exotic views of the fall & of the deep valley. The braver people who follows proper instructions, we can take you to a risky thrilling point in-between & behind the waterfall.

Way back is the same and we let you enjoy in the river at specific safe points – at times in a large natural bath tub & sometimes below a small waterfall. And to then to cleanse your lungs there’s a taxing climb of about 1.25 kms before finishing the trek. It’s a great experience, with awesome sights in the 6 kms trek (to & fro) memories of which will be engraved in your minds for ever or least for a much longer time.
