Option 2 - To the Bottom of the Waterfall

From the Bottom of the Vajra Fall
After a driver of over two hours from Belgaum, the trek begins with a gradual descend, which becomes steeper & steeper – to the point that many of you will experience shaky legs, and finally you reach the Mahadaye river about 50 meters ahead of the Vajra Waterfall.

The trek is a sort of more monotonous – continuous descending while going & continuous ascending while returning, which makes the trek more taxing and sometimes a bit boring. View of the waterfall from the bottoms is really great, but as you are already in the valley you miss the view of the deep valley.

There’s a big pond of water just below the waterfall and we don’t let swimming in it as the rocks there are sharp, slippery & the cold water may develop cramps in the body amidst of a swim. Not to mention, way back is a continuous steep & gradual ascend till the finish point.
